OMRON Electronic Components Europe will demonstrate power-control components for electrification at smarter E Europe 2026, with applications across EV charging, energy storage and solar microgeneration.
The company will exhibit at booth B6.380 in the Power2Drive Europe section of the event, which takes place at Messe München in Munich from 23 to 25 June 2026.
Power-control components for electrification
OMRON said it will present its latest AC and DC relays for high-energy systems, including applications in vehicle charging, power conditioning and energy storage.
The demonstrations will include wallbox EV chargers, DC fast-charging systems, commercial and industrial energy storage systems, and solar microgenerators.
According to the company, replacing contactors with PCB-mount AC and DC power relays can reduce size, weight, assembly costs and coil power in some equipment designs.
Relay technology for EV charging and storage systems
OMRON will show its G9KA, G9KD and G9KJ series relays at the exhibition. The company said the components are designed to support safe isolation, longer cycle life and built-in fault detection.
The recently announced G9KJ compact relays are optimised for pre-charge actuation in DC charging systems up to 1,500V.
OMRON will also demonstrate a comparison between a 230A dual-contactor safety-isolation circuit and a functionally equivalent prototype using six G9KA 260A AC relays in a compact footprint.
SiC relays and smart sensor technology
The company will also display its SiCMosfet family of silicon carbide relays, which OMRON says can handle load voltages up to 3,300V.
In addition, visitors will be able to see a smart, connected weather sensor for IoT applications.
Model-specific videos at the booth will cover product families including the G7EB, G9KC, G9KD and G9KJ series.
smarter E Europe focuses on the clean energy transition
smarter E Europe brings together four exhibitions: Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe. The 2026 event will focus on renewable energy, decentralisation, digitalisation and cross-sector energy solutions. Messe München confirms the event runs from 23 to 25 June 2026.
Power2Drive Europe focuses on charging infrastructure and e-mobility, placing OMRON’s demonstrations within the wider market for electrified transport and distributed energy systems.
